Weapon		Why It’s Good
Forgeborn Scathe		Forgeborn Scathe is Laevatain’s Signature weapon and her best weapon in Arknights: Endfield. Once she wields it, Laevatain gains a huge amount of Intellect, Heat DMG, and ATK%. That should be enough to make Forgeborn Scathe the best weapon for Laevatain. However, the 6-star weapon takes it one step further by greatly buffing her Basic ATK DMG when she unleashes her Ultimate, which is her best source of DMG.
Umbral Torch		Since her gameplay revolves around inflicting enemies with Combustion, it makes sense to build Laevatain with Umbral Torch in Arknights: Endfield. The 6-star sword will increase her Heat DMG on top of the already crazy Intellect and Heat DMG buff she gets without requirements.
White Night Nova		White Night Nova is a good weapon for Laevatain, but not because of its absurd Arts Intensity buff. Although she has some Combustion mechanics in her gameplay, Laevatain mostly benefits from enemies having the Combustion status. Instead, giving Laevatain a high Base ATK, Intellect, and Arts DMG is what makes it a strong choice for her.
Wave Tide		Going into the F2P options, Wave Tide is a decent F2P choice for Laevatain in Arknights: Endfield. The 4-star sword gives her Intellect, ATK%, and more ATK% when she triggers her Combo Skill. There’s no doubt it’s a major DPS drop compared to other 6-star swords, but it’s still one of the best F2P weapons for Laevatain in Endfield.
Fortmaker		If you’re trying to build Laevatain with more energy to cast her Ultimate more frequently, then Fortmaker is a solid option. It gives Laevatain the stats she needs, which are slightly lower compared to Wave Tide. However, the Ultimate Gain Efficiency buff is worth the trade-off, as it improves her rotation.

As a Laevatain player, I’ve found that equipping the Hot Work set in Endfield is a total game-changer! It’s because she gets a massive damage boost when she applies Combustion to enemies. Seriously, it makes a huge difference in her DPS and really amps up the damage from her Ultimate – it’s almost essential for getting the most out of her!

Best Gear Set		Hot Work Exoskeleton doesn’t grant Laevatain Intellect like most of her items do, but it does buff her strength, which is Laevatain’s Secondary Attribute. The reason for prioritizing this gear over other options is the Heat DMG buff Exoskeleton provides.
		Hot Work Gauntlets are the perfect gear for Laevatain, as they increase her Intellect, Strength, and Heat DMG. Basically, everything Laevatain needs is in those Gauntlets.
		Hot Work Pyrometer provides more Intellect than the other Hot Work gears, which is what gives it the edge over them. It also grants a lot of Battle Skill DMG, which is one of the skills Laevatain uses to deal DMG.
Best Flex		LYNX Slab is a great flex pick for Laevatain’s build in Endfield, as it increases her Intellect twice, one with a flat number, and another with a percentage buff. This builds a lot of Intellect and ATK% on Laevatain, ensuring she can deal a lot of DMG during combat. You can also use the Eternal Xiranite Power Core gear, as it grants Laevatain Intellect and a lot of Ultimate Gain Efficiency. This will notably improve her rotations by allowing her to cast her Ultimate more often during combat.
