In the early stages, you’ll find yourself dying frequently, and even then, the game increases the difficulty so that the timing for your actions is always critical. The driving mechanics are similar to the Trials series, and maintaining balance on two wheels requires some getting used to.

Slowing down time or finding the perfect position for a shot or landing provides some flexibility when dealing with specific game pieces. However, mastering Laika: Aged Through Blood can be tough as you try to coordinate everything effectively. Fortunately, checkpoints are never too distant, and although there may be areas that prove frustrating, overcoming these challenges and understanding your abilities more than compensates for the difficulty.
