Eleventh Hour Games has unveiled their plans for the 2025 updates of the game ‘Last Epoch’, which will feature the Monolith of Fate, dungeon enhancements, new champion foes, endgame bosses, added crafting options, and various other improvements. The Season 2 update of ‘Last Epoch’, expected to drop in April, will encompass these changes together with bug fixes.
The much-anticipated action RPG game titled “Last Epoch,” launched in the year 2024, garnered massive attention, boasting over a quarter of a million simultaneous online players at its debut. In this game, adventurers journey through the world of Eterra, transitioning between various timeframes to safeguard the future. The versatile “Last Epoch” offers numerous character customization options, enabling players to mold their characters in myriad ways. Recently, Eleventh Hour Games has disclosed some of its 2025 plans for “Last Epoch,” and now they’ve unveiled additional details.
In a recent blog post, Eleventh Hour Games unveiled the upcoming adjustments for Season 2 in Last Epoch. Taking player feedback into account, the developer is introducing a fresh method of navigation between The Bazaar and The Observatory, streamlining travel for gamers. However, Eleventh Hour Games cautions that these new navigational options won’t let players bypass the storyline of Last Epoch, and they can’t be utilized to return to Maj’Elka. Moreover, Season 2 will feature enhancements to controller functionality, with a refined approach to skill-targeting mechanics designed to provide players with greater flexibility.
Furthermore, the creator has hinted at significant updates for the Last Epoch dungeons, aiming to elevate the new player experience by incorporating exclusive rewards and innovative mechanics. Additionally, the game will witness an enhancement in the Monolith of Fate, featuring fresh echo objectives, adversaries, endgame bosses, as well as additions to crafting, and a “thoroughly revamped Volatile Reversal skill” from scratch.
Players can now effortlessly report bugs by hitting the F8 key. This user-friendly feature enables them to capture screenshots of UI troubles and submit them, thereby making the bug fixing process more efficient. Customization options for keyboard input are also available with this new bug reporting tool, catering to players’ specific requirements. Eleventh Hour Games has promised players that Season 2 is focusing on eradicating a backlog of bugs. Among the issues being addressed are difficulties in multiplayer mode, visual inconsistencies and lighting flaws, problems related to armor cooldown, and bugs concerning certain abilities, like the malfunctioning Halo Effect in Lightning Blast.
Despite the developer having addressed numerous bugs in previous updates for Last Epoch, there remains a “backlog of issues” that they intend to resolve with the upcoming patch. As players anticipate April 2025, there’s still much excitement for what Last Epoch has in store this year.
