Hold off on getting too excited about Titanfall 3 for now. A leak emerged claiming that Titanfall 3 was nearly finished and outlining several upcoming features, but a well-known journalist recently shared that this leaked info is actually false.
In the most recent installment of Game Breaking News, Jeff Grubb debunked the assertions made by Apex Legends leak source, Osvaldatore.
“This isn’t real,” Grubb said. “I’m sorry. It’s not real.”
Next, Grubb elaborated on the fact that Respawn Entertainment seems to be working on projects featuring colossal characters or titans.
Grubb speculated, “Could there be a preliminary version of Steve Fukuda’s project featuring Titans? It’s quite possible.” He further noted, “I can’t confirm it, but my assumption leans towards this being a reasonable guess.
“Now, is that going to get announced in 2025 and released in 2026? No way.”

He also mentioned that Electronic Arts (EA) has recently been pulling several titles from Respawn Entertainment’s production line, among these were cancellations such as Titanfall Legends, an earlier iteration of what would have become Titanfall 3.
Grubb clarified that there isn’t currently a plan for a single-player campaign, multiplayer-inclusive Titanfall 3 using Unreal Engine 5. He expressed disappointment in having to dampen expectations, stating that fans shouldn’t anticipate a new Titanfall game arriving soon.
