Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered Leaks Hours Ahead of State of Play

As a longtime fan of the Legacy of Kain series, I can hardly contain my excitement! The accidental early listing of Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered on the PlayStation Store is like a dream come true. It’s been too long since we’ve delved into the epic conflict between Kain and Raziel, and I can’t wait to experience it all over again, or for the first time in remastered glory!

Before the formal unveiling during the State of Play event, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered was inadvertently posted prematurely on the PlayStation Store.

Based on a previous listing that has since been taken down, the Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered game is slated for release to mark the 25th anniversary of the Soul Reaver franchise. This remastered version is being developed by Aspyr, who were also behind the Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered project. The planned release date for this title is December 10, 2024.

Fans can enjoy the classic struggle between Kain and Raziel in its original version or an upgraded visual style. This compilation encompasses two titles: Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 1 and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2, offering a journey through the original games.

About Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered

The story unfolds as Raziel sets out on a vengeful crusade against his previous master who deceived and slaughtered him. Gamers can capitalize on the abilities of a Wraith, employing claws, bolts of telekinetic force, and the Wraith Sword to exterminate their vampire counterparts.

Players can change between Physical and Ethereal Dimensions. Moving through and investigating these dimensions offers fresh challenges in the form of puzzles to unravel, routes to traverse, and foes to conquer.
