LEGO 2025 Advent Calendars Revealed: Preorder Starts September!

Despite the fact that the month indicated on the calendar is June, Christmas will be arriving sooner than you think. To help you get in the festive spirit, LEGO has unveiled a new selection of LEGO Advent Calendars specifically for the 2025 holiday season.

Each LEGO Advent Calendar set comes with 24 days worth of items to unveil. Inside, you’ll discover mini-figures and additional parts. Each set retails at $45 and shipping starts on September 1st. At present, four sets are available for pre-order from the following franchises:

This version maintains the original meaning while making it more natural to read and easier to understand.

  • Frozen
  • Harry Potter
  • Minecraft
  • Star Wars

Frozen LEGO Advent Calendar

It’s logical that one of the most successful animated film series ever made would receive a Christmas-themed version. The Frozen LEGO Advent Calendar is primarily intended for young children, as it carries an age rating of five years and above. The set contains 231 pieces in total. The minifigures of Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven, included in the box, have been redesigned to cater to a younger audience, but they remain visually appealing.

One exciting aspect of the LEGO Frozen Advent Calendar is that it transforms into a children’s board game once all items are unveiled. The box itself serves as the game board, and you’ll even construct a spinner during the Advent calendar sequence. Since the set includes five minifigures, up to five individuals can join in the fun.

Harry Potter LEGO Advent Calendar

Among the four calendars, I particularly enjoy the Harry Potter Advent Calendar the most. It’s bursting with minifigures, each house contributing two: from Gryffindor, we have both Harry Potter and Angelina Johnson; Hannah Abbott and Cedric Diggory represent Hufflepuff; Cho Chang and Luna Lovegood are part of Ravenclaw; and Draco Malfoy and Blaise Zabini represent Slytherin.

As a devoted fan, I’m always amazed by the festive spirit at our gatherings! Every student dons Christmas sweaters and brandishes wands like it’s second nature. In our magical world, we have six intricate creatures to craft, from Hedwig and Buckbeak to the mysterious Thestral. Plus, there are nine compact builds that bring magic to life, featuring iconic items such as the Sorting Hat, butterbeer, and even The Monster Book of Monsters!

Star Wars LEGO Advent Calendar

In a galaxy far beyond ours, Christmas remains significant. For this year’s Star Wars Advent Calendar, LEGO has children assuming the role of droidsmiths. What makes this unique is that kids will be constructing droids, including C-3P0, a snowman BB-8, and even Super Battle Droids! It’s an exciting twist to the traditional holiday season!

Additionally, you’ll find nine miniature construction sets that enhance the overall collection. They follow the DIY (do-it-yourself) motif, featuring items like a workstation, a tool holder, a mobile crane, and additional robot components.

Minecraft LEGO Advent Calendar

Among all LEGO Advent Calendars, this one themed on Minecraft might just be the most sought-after. Featuring elements from Mojang’s vast gaming empire, it comprises a grand total of 300 pieces. Ideal for children aged seven and above.

Inside, you’ll discover miniature figures of Steve, Alex, a Creeper, and several others. Plus, there are numerous LEGO accessories themed around Minecraft and festive Christmas items. If your child is an enthusiast of the video game, they’ll be thrilled to unwrap daily small presents as the Minecraft LEGO Advent Calendar reveals its surprises.
