The team behind LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, TT Games, has announced that the PC version won’t need the massive 32 GB of RAM initially reported. While the game will still need a powerful computer to run with the best visual settings, it will now be playable on a wider range of PCs.
Announced at Gamescom 2025, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an action-packed game with a blend of serious storytelling and lighthearted humor. The game reimagines Gotham City in LEGO form and tells the story of Bruce Wayne’s transformation into Batman. Players will use detective work, cool gadgets, and a smooth combat system inspired by the Batman: Arkham series. LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will be available on all current gaming consoles on May 29th.

Even though LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is being built with the powerful Unreal Engine 5, TT Games is still working hard to improve its performance before it releases. On February 13th, they announced on Steam that the PC version will now require half the RAM originally expected – reducing it from 32 GB to 16 GB. However, TT Games wants players to know that these PC specs aren’t final and they’ll continue to optimize the game as the release date approaches.

The PC requirements for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight vary quite a bit, but even the minimum specs aren’t too demanding. To run the game, you’ll need at least an Intel Core i5-9600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (or a newer processor), and a graphics card with 8GB of VRAM, like the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060. If you want a smoother experience, though, you’ll need to invest in more powerful hardware. TT Games recommends an 8-core CPU (such as the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X or newer) and a GeForce RTX 3080 or better, as listed on the Steam page.

The PC requirements for the upcoming game LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight are still being finalized, but the good news is it won’t need as much RAM as originally expected.
