LEGO Fan Finds Old Sets at Recycling Center
A Reddit user named infinus5 shared a fantastic discovery on the LEGO subreddit: a box full of LEGO sets found at a recycling center. Surprisingly, the box contained several complete, unopened LEGO kits that someone had thrown away. Many of the sets still had the original instruction manuals, which were remarkably well-preserved. Photos show a collection of partially built sets, with bricks and half-finished vehicles scattered throughout.

One fan specifically noted the excellent condition of the Moon baseplates, and the original poster shared they’d discovered a whole box of twelve Moon base sets. Many playfully complained about whoever threw away the LEGOs, suggesting it should be illegal to discard classic sets! Fans also dug into the details, discovering some of the LEGOs dated back to the early 1990s and were still in their original bags.
