LEGO is giving away a free holiday building set with purchases of $75 or more on its online store. This offer ends December 16th, so don’t wait if you’re hoping to get one as a last-minute gift!
Lots of LEGO Holiday sets are available, and the official LEGO website features a special Holiday Decor section. You can find a fun Minifigure Advent Calendar for the 12 days leading up to the holidays, buildable snowman ornaments, and a detailed Christmas Table Decoration with realistic pine needles, holly berries, flowers, and even a little candle. Beyond the holiday theme, the LEGO store offers over 30 different building categories inspired by popular TV shows, movies, and video games, including sets based on Animal Crossing, Mario, and The Legend of Zelda.
LEGO Gingerbread Train Ornament is Free With Online Purchase
The LEGO store is currently giving away a free Gingerbread Train Ornament with purchases of $75 or more. This festive build, part of the Holiday LEGO Set collection, contains 190 pieces and measures over 4.5 inches long. Designed for ages 8 and up, the train is decorated with colorful candy details like peppermint sticks and icing, and even features a double-decker ice cream cone as a smokestack! With rotating wheels, it can be played with as a train or displayed as a charming holiday decoration.
Image via LEGO The Gingerbread Train Ornament usually costs $14.99, but it’s currently free with any purchase of $75 or more. This offer is only available until December 16, 2025, or while supplies last. If you order through express shipping before December 20, the website guarantees delivery before Christmas, meaning you can still get the ornament even if you didn’t shop during Black Friday. Plus, LEGO account holders who shop between December 10th and 14th will earn double purchase points on their orders.
It’s easy to spend $75 on LEGOs and qualify for a free holiday gift. You don’t need to buy a huge, expensive set like the $1,000 Death Star. Several newer kits cost around $75. For example, there are a few Star Wars sets, such as the Venator-Class Attack Cruiser ($79.99) or the BB-8 Astromech Droid ($89.99). Marvel fans can reach the $75 threshold by buying both the Hulkbuster vs. The Hulk and Spider-Man vs. Sandman Epic Battle sets for a combined price of $74.98. Or, they could choose the Spider-Man vs. Mysterio: The Daily Bugle set for $99.99.
Beyond what’s currently available, some exciting LEGO sets are planned for next year. The latest addition to the LEGO Modular Buildings collection, containing 3,456 pieces, will be released on January 4th for $249.99. LEGO is also expanding its video game-inspired sets with a new Legend of Zelda set, revealed in an official trailer. While details are still limited, the set will likely feature Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, and Navi. The price and release date haven’t been announced yet.
