LEGO Fortnite Odyssey Replaces Original Game Mode

LEGO Fortnite Odyssey Replaces Original Game Mode

As a hardcore LEGO and Fortnite fan, I’m absolutely thrilled about the impending LEGO Fortnite Storm Chasers Update! The name change to LEGO Fortnite Odyssey only adds to the excitement. I remember playing the original survival crafting game back in 2023, and now, ten years later, we’re taking on the Storm King with friends!

In a natural and easy-to-read style: The original LEGO Fortnite survival and crafting game, which was released in December 2023, is now called LEGO Fortnite Odyssey. Starting tomorrow, December 10, a new Storm Chasers update for this mode will be available, coinciding with the name change.

The special LEGO Fortnite segment within its Discover area now offers two new game modes: Odyssey and Brick Life. In the Odyssey mode, players will encounter a scenario where the Storm King has invaded the world. They, along with their friends, must band together to defeat him and his legion of storm-wild followers, led by Raven.

LEGO Fortnite Storm Chasers Update

Your upcoming adventure with LEGO Fortnite Odyssey kicks off in Storm Chaser village, where you encounter characters such as Carl Ruckus and Dr. Borrasca. From there, you’ll venture into the tempests, where Storm Dungeons can be found. Inside these dungeons lies shards of the Storm King’s power that need to be broken to weaken his grip on the world. The adversaries you’ll face include Acolytes, Raven, and the Storm King himself.

New Gameplay Mechanics

In the LEGO Fortnite Odyssey’s Storm Chasers Update, a fresh set of gameplay features have been unveiled. Adjustments have been made to enemy health and damage, ensuring a more balanced experience. A new crafting system based on components has been implemented, providing greater freedom in selecting materials. The Legendary Forge serves as an upgrade station, allowing you to elevate your tools to higher levels.

Additionally, other characters in the game (both players and non-player characters) now have the ability to resurrect fallen players, keeping the action going. Furthermore, there are new vehicle designs available, including the ‘Lil’ Barge’ and ‘Storm Chaser’. Last but not least, LEGO Fortnite Odyssey supports split-screen play on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.
