LEGO Legend of Zelda Leak Gives Us Our First Look at the Set, Confirms Price

We’ve been getting bits and pieces of information about the new Legend of Zelda LEGO set for a while now – things like how it will look, when it’s coming out, and how many pieces it will have. But now, thanks to a recent leak, we finally have all the details.

Recent leaks have revealed almost everything about the upcoming LEGO Legend of Zelda set, including its design, how many pieces it will have, and its official name. Called “The Final Battle: Ocarina of Time,” the set will recreate a scene from the game with Link and Zelda facing off against Ganon in a display-style diorama. Interestingly, it appears this set will be a 2-in-1 build, similar to the popular Deku Tree set released a few years ago.

Just as leaks suggested, the new LEGO Ocarina of Time set recreates the final battle between Link and Ganon in his beast form. The first trailer hinted at this, showing Link facing a large, threatening shadow. The set will be designed like a small scene, featuring the ruins of Hyrule Castle – including a broken tower, flames, and scattered debris. It also includes a neat Triforce symbol on the front.

The Zelda LEGO set comes with minifigures of Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf, as you’d expect, plus a small Navi figure, a Megaton Hammer, and recovery hearts. It’s a great set for fans, especially those who build their own LEGO creations (MOCs) and have been hoping for a Ganondorf figure.

The main attraction of The Final Battle: Ocarina of Time LEGO set is definitely the Ganon figure, built from LEGO bricks. It looks just like I pictured, featuring the Beast Ganon design and his two swords. While I was hoping for a level of detail similar to the LEGO Bowser set, the 1,003 pieces hinted it might be a bit smaller, and that turned out to be the case.

The LEGO set’s box art features Link battling Beast Ganon, but an additional image lets you swap in Ganondorf as his Gerudo minifigure. Similar to the Deku Tree set, you can customize the final battle scene by deciding where to position Link and Zelda, and which version of Ganon to use.

Because the set uses fewer pieces, many expected it to be reasonably priced, and it is. The Final Battle from Ocarina of Time will cost $129.99 in the US, which is likely to be a topic of debate. While LEGO fans will probably find this price acceptable, people who don’t usually collect LEGOs might be surprised by the $130 cost for a set that seems relatively simple.

Considering the cost, customers probably anticipated a more detailed or larger set. However, those same people likely thought the huge Pokémon set featuring Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise wasn’t worth its $650 price tag. LEGO sets tend to be expensive, and that’s just a fact.

I was really looking forward to this Legend of Zelda set for 2026, and I knew I’d buy it as soon as it came out. I love how the scene is designed – it’s compact enough to fit on a shelf easily. But the best part is definitely the Ganon minifigure! I can’t wait for March to arrive.
