LEGO has had a fantastic start to the year, and 2026 promises even more exciting releases! Fans of major franchises like Pokémon, The Lord of the Rings, Marvel, DC, and Harry Potter can look forward to new LEGO sets. January was incredibly busy with new products, and February will be a slightly quieter month before the next wave of releases.
February will see the release of seven new LEGO sets, and that number might change slightly as the month gets closer. Currently, there aren’t many new sets planned, but most of them are exciting additions for Pokémon fans! There are also a few LEGO-branded sets coming out for those who enjoy the classic builds.

Okay, so the Pokemon LEGO sets just dropped a few weeks ago, and the internet immediately blew up! Of course, scalpers were all over eBay, trying to sell their pre-orders for ridiculous prices. It feels like Pokemon stuff – whether it’s cards or LEGOs – is always getting snatched up and resold for way too much. But February isn’t just for Pokemon fans, though! If you like building seasonal stuff, there’s a Spring Wreath coming out, and honestly, the Golden Retriever Puppy LEGO set is just the cutest thing ever – I need it!
These are just the initial LEGO Pokémon sets coming out this year, with more planned for release this summer – though details haven’t been announced yet.

The LEGO set based on Project Hail Mary is particularly noteworthy. What’s surprising is that the source material – a book by The Martian author Andy Weir, with a movie starring Ryan Gosling coming out in March 2026 – isn’t as widely recognized as other popular franchises like Batman or Disney properties. It’s exciting to see a LEGO set created for Project Hail Mary even though it’s not yet a guaranteed blockbuster.

Both months have plenty to look forward to, but the year is just beginning! LEGO’s summer lineup is looking huge, possibly even bigger than what we’ve already seen. While many sets are still unannounced, summer promises more exciting sets from popular franchises, as well as some fresh surprises we haven’t seen yet this year.
Some of LEGO’s Confirmed Summer Roster
- Jurassic World
- Harry Potter
- Star Wars
- Pokemon
- Minecraft
- Ninjago
- Marvel
We can expect even more options soon, but there are already some exciting LEGO sets to watch for. The Jurassic World line will include two complex builds for adults, and there will be new sets released for Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Pokemon fans. Minecraft, Ninjago, and Marvel will also have major releases, and we’ll likely see more details leak out before LEGO officially reveals everything.
LEGO continues to be a leading toy company, and their plans for 2026 show why. The toys appeal to people of all ages, offering a creative and enjoyable building experience. Throughout the year, it will be exciting to see what new products LEGO releases. For now, Pokémon fans can anticipate February’s offerings, and a wider range of LEGO sets will be available in March.
