LEGO recently announced a new set inspired by the classic Peanuts comic strip. The set, which features Snoopy and Woodstock on top of Snoopy’s famous red doghouse, will be available starting June 1, 2026.
This year marks the 76th anniversary of Peanuts, the beloved comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz in 1950. Over its run, which lasted until Schulz’s death in 2000, nearly 18,000 Peanuts comics were published. Over the past seven decades, Peanuts has expanded beyond the comic strip to include numerous animated shows and specials, several movies, and even live stage productions.

The LEGO Peanuts: Snoopy’s Doghouse set has 964 pieces and costs $89.99. You can pre-order it now on LEGO’s website, and it will start shipping on June 1, 2026. The set is based on the famous image of Snoopy relaxing on his doghouse, which first appeared in a Peanuts comic strip in December 1958.
This LEGO Peanuts set mainly builds Snoopy’s doghouse, complete with the grassy area around it. The doghouse stands over 10 inches tall, is 6.5 inches wide, and 5.5 inches deep. The top of the doghouse lifts up to reveal a little campfire scene, with a black backdrop that can be unfolded to show a starry night sky. This allows fans to create fun scenes of the characters roasting marshmallows.
The new LEGO set features a buildable Snoopy figure that can be posed in different positions – sitting, standing, or lying down – thanks to its adjustable legs and neck. His best friend, Woodstock, is also included as a LEGO build. The set even has a tiny typewriter that can be placed on top of Snoopy’s doghouse, referencing a classic Peanuts comic from July 1965 where Snoopy starts writing a novel.
Like all LEGO Ideas sets, this official LEGO Peanuts set started as a design created by a fan named Robert Becker, who goes by bossofdos64 online. His original Snoopy set had only 340 pieces and included Snoopy, Woodstock, and a campfire. The final LEGO version is much larger, almost tripling the number of pieces, with most of the additions used to create Snoopy’s famous doghouse.

The LEGO Peanuts set, approved in March 2025, launched alongside Maximilian Lambrecht’s ‘Floating Sea Otter’ design. LEGO recently announced an official version of the sea otters, scheduled for release on March 1st. While many find the set charming, some fans are disappointed with changes LEGO made to Lambrecht’s original design, including the addition of a baby otter and alterations to the sea otter’s face and details. Looking ahead to June 2026, LEGO hasn’t officially announced any sets yet, but leaks suggest a packed month. Rumored sets include an 18+ Jurassic World set, multiple Spider-Man: Brand New Day sets, new LEGO Minecraft builds, and the very first official LEGO Shrek sets.
