Life Is Strange: Double Exposure: All Polaroid Locations Revealed

Life Is Strange: Double Exposure: All Polaroid Locations Revealed

As a seasoned detective and connoisseur of narrative-driven games, I must say that this walkthrough for “Life is Strange: Before the Storm” has truly taken me on a rollercoaster ride through the emotional labyrinth that is Chloe Price’s life. From the intricate details of each scene to the subtle nuances in character development, it’s clear that the creators have put their hearts and souls into crafting this gripping tale.

Despite the somber backdrop of despair and high-stakes detective work, Life is Strange: Double Exposure provides players with opportunities to savor tranquil, peaceful instances amidst the chaos.

Similar to other games in the Life is Strange series, Double Exposure offers peaceful intervals when the narrative pauses, allowing you to delve deeper into each chapter. In these tranquil periods, you may come across Polaroid photos hidden throughout the chapter.

As you gather the Polaroids, you’ll notice faint reverberations of a moment Max seems unaware he captured, suggesting they originate from an alternate dimension. The Polaroid snapshots are strategically placed within each chapter, tucked away in locations that require detours to find them.

Adding these Polaroids to your collection is as simple as picking them up. You can find your entire collection, along with Max’s Journal and Phone, by navigating to the same menu.

Instead of relying on hints from the Collections tab for the Polaroid locations, this guide offers you a direct solution by providing the precise spots where they can be found.

Chapter 1: Still Life

Finding all the photos rewards you with the “A Trick of the Light” achievement or trophy.

In this game, although it’s not directly mentioned, you have the option to advance quickly by pressing the ‘Skip’ button (which is R1 on PlayStation 5). However, regardless of your selections, they won’t impact the game if you opt for “Explore Scene.

Chapter 2: Penumbra

In this chapter, there are a grand total of five Polaroid snapshots to find. Gathering each one will earn you the “Advancement Unlocked” or “Progress Achieved” reward.

By this point, Max has realized that she took those photos, but she doesn’t remember them.

In another time or universe, it’s likely that a different ‘Max’ is responsible for taking them, and those Polaroids somehow found their way into this reality of hers.
