Life is Strange: Reunion has 32 scenes, which might seem lengthy, but they’re actually quite short compared to previous games in the series. A first playthrough will likely take around 10 to 12 hours to complete. Subsequent playthroughs can save you a little time, but not much. You can’t skip dialogue or cutscenes unless you use “Explore” mode, which only allows you to replay scenes individually and then returns you to the main menu.
How Many Chapters are in Life is Strange Reunion? (Chapter List)
Life is Strange: Reunion is divided into 32 short segments called ‘scenes’ instead of chapters. This change reflects that these scenes are much shorter than the chapters and episodes in previous Life is Strange games. While 32 sounds like a large number, you can finish them fairly quickly, especially if you use ‘Explore’ mode to skip conversations and collect any missed items from Max or Chloe.

Is Life is Strange Reunion Episodic?
Unlike previous games in the series, Life is Strange: Reunion doesn’t divide its story into episodes or chapters. Instead, it’s one long, connected narrative where you play as both Max and Chloe. The game is broken down into scenes, which you can revisit. You can use ‘Explore’ mode to find collectibles and unlock achievements, or ‘Restart’ mode to make different choices and experience a different outcome with a new save.
The “Scene Select” menu divides Life is Strange: Reunion into three separate acts, with clearly defined sections for each.
- Act 1 – Backstage Pass to More Than Meets the Eye
- Act 2 – Reunion to Mabon
- Act 3 – The Majestic Tapestry to Partners in Time
How Long Does it Take to Beat Life is Strange Reunion?
Okay, so I just finished Life is Strange: Reunion, and it took me about 10 to 12 hours for my first run. If you’re a completionist like me and want to find everything – all the Podcasts, for example – it’ll probably take you longer. Replaying the game is a bit faster, but not a ton faster. You can’t skip the story stuff, like conversations or cutscenes, unless you’re using Explore mode to check things out. But even then, Explore mode only lets you replay specific scenes, not continue your whole playthrough from there.
