Today, the official studio shared an announcement on their Twitter/X account, featuring a simulated image of a Steam Deck running our game.

Since the Steam Deck hasn’t been released yet, it’s important to note that players might need to adjust the graphics settings for RGG Studio’s newest Yakuza game to a range of low to medium if they plan to play it on-the-go.
Although it’s possible that 60 frames per second could be achieved by RGG on their portable device, a more achievable goal might be 30 frames per second.
Outside the graphical settings, expect the same gameplay from the PC and console counterparts.

In the sequel of the Gaiden subseries within the Like a Dragon franchise, players find themselves taking on the role of Goro Majima, a character who, according to RGG, is “a man who has lost his memory and transforms into a pirate sailing the vast oceans.
Even though the game hasn’t been released yet, RGG Studio has confirmed that they will add a New Game+ mode to the action game at no cost following its launch, through an update to the game.
In February 21, 2025, you’ll be able to set sail or delve into underworld dealings with “Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii” on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
