Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza: Quickest Way To Win Darts

In the game “Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii” by RGG Studio, Majima might encounter mini-games reminiscent of actual arcade games.

Among numerous arcade games, there’s one called Darts, a classic favorite that has been featured prominently within the Yakuza series. In Pirate Yakuza, you can challenge your shipmates in a game of Darts and win some exclusive prizes.

In the game, mastering darts is far simpler compared to real-life play. This guide presents an effective strategy to swiftly earn rewards from your teammates in just two rounds of darts: A streamlined approach for maximizing crewmate rewards in minimal time.

Location

Initially, head towards the east wing of the Crystal Aloha Resort in West Aloha Beach, Honolulu, where you’ll discover the Darts minigame.

Just head for the West Aloha Beach taxi stop, then take a right towards the stairway by the shoreline. Keep walking on the seaside walkway until you spot the Dart machines tucked away in a little alcove to your right side.

Playing each game will set you back just $2, ensuring that you can keep enjoying it unless you’re completely broke. If that’s the case, take a moment to look through our handy guide offering tips on earning money swiftly.

Strategy

If you want to earn more than just Pirate Rank points while playing Darts, it would be best to select the “Play with another player” option instead.

As I step up to the oche, each player on my team has their unique approach and moves during a game of darts. But here’s the thing, after two rounds, I’m confident I’ve got ’em all beat using this strategy of mine.

Feel free to begin playing with whoever you prefer most, but since Noah is at the top of our list, I suggest starting with him initially. Select your preferred dart and opt for the “01 Games” mode. You’ll be engaging in the lowest scoring game, 301.

If you’re new to the game of Darts and haven’t had a chance to play it yet, let me give you a quick summary of how to play 301 and understand the basics of Darts:

  • You’ll throw three darts at your target before switching with your opponent.
  • A bullseye is worth 50 points, and other sections of the board have different values, with the outer ring worth double that point, and the inner ring triple that point.
  • In 01 games, any target you score subtracts from that number (in this case, 301), and your goal is to get to 0 as efficiently as possible.
  • In the minigame, you’ll have a gauge that bounces up and down, and the closer to the center you press the button, the more accurate your throws are.

On a controller, for more accurate aiming, simply squeeze the joystick between your thumb and index finger. This grip allows for better control as you monitor the gauge simultaneously.

Initially, you’ll accumulate three sets of twenty points, resulting in a deduction of 180 from your starting total of 301, leaving you with 121 points. Following this, your competitor will add up their points.

Subsequently, achieve two scores of 20 each, resulting in 1 point. Followed by a score of 1, you will emerge victorious in the game.

Crewmates And Rewards

Every team member offers exclusive prizes upon your initial victory over them, while subsequent victories yield common items such as consumables.

The only crewmate who doesn’t give you a consumable is Masaru, who instead gives you fish.
