What Is Link Click?
A Unique and Popular Chinese Animated Project
In the story of “Link Click“, we find ourselves with Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang, owners of Moment of Time Photo Studio. Their clients are often troubled individuals seeking solace from their regrets. Xiaoshi has a unique talent; he can step into a photograph and experience everything that happened at that exact moment through the eyes of the photo-taker, feeling their emotions and remembering their past. Meanwhile, Guang is adept at navigating time sequences to help Xiaoshi recall events more accurately. They are given just twelve hours and one chance to travel back in time, ensuring they don’t alter the past while resolving others’ regrets.
The animated series “Link Click” was created by Studio LAN in collaboration with director Li Haolin’s animation studio, Haoliners Animation League. The initial season spanned 12 episodes from April to July 2021, followed by seasons two and three, which aired from July 2023 to September 2023, and then the prequel series titled “Link Click: Bridon Arc“, which broadcasted for six episodes from December 2024 to January 2025. The upcoming third season of “Link Click” is scheduled for release in 2026. Key personnel behind the scenes of “Link Click” include Li Haolin, who serves as director and original creator of the currently airing series “To be Hero X“, taking charge of direction and scriptwriting, while Tenmon handles the music composition.
Link Click is available to stream on Crunchyroll. The third season is set for 2026.
