As a long-time fan of both Logan Paul and KSI, I must admit that I’ve been following their careers with a mix of amusement and fascination. From their humble beginnings on YouTube to their forays into boxing and now beverage production, they’ve always managed to keep me entertained and intrigued. However, it seems that their latest venture, Prime Hydration, is causing them some trouble.
Notable YouTubers Logan Paul, KSI, and their drink brand Prime Hydration are confronted with a substantial legal hurdle, as a bottling company has filed a lawsuit worth over $67 million against them. The lawsuit claims that Prime Hydration, which gained much of its success through the influence of these YouTube stars, violated its contract by reportedly backing out of an earlier agreed-upon deal.
More and more content creators have been expanding their horizons into multiple sectors beyond their initial online platforms. YouTubers like KSI and Logan Paul are shining examples of this trend. Initially famous for their commentary on the FIFA game series, as well as for their humorous skits, music, and vlogs, KSI eventually made a name for himself in boxing, gaining substantial attention through high-profile matches. Similarly, Logan Paul, another YouTuber, also delved into professional boxing and saw considerable success. Furthermore, both KSI and Logan Paul teamed up to create Prime Hydration in 2022, which has proven to be a significant venture, as indicated by the sales figures reported by Logan Paul last year.
As a devoted follower of Prime Hydration, I’ve kept up with their journey and recently came across some intriguing news. It appears that the company is currently involved in a legal dispute with Refresco, a major beverage bottler. Refresco claims they invested significantly to establish and maintain a production line solely for Prime Hydration products, based on assurances from the defendants. This investment included costs for retooling and ongoing maintenance, as well as turning down potential business opportunities with other clients.

Beyond what Refresco suggests, the company asserts that the early termination of the contract was driven by the “defendants’ hidden intention to stop fulfilling their obligations” and their assertion that the agreement ended on its own terms without informing Refresco. Refresco believes that if the defendants had revealed their true intentions, these investments would not have been made. Therefore, Refresco is pursuing damages, including a minimum of $67,710,000, to cover the financial losses incurred due to Prime Hydration’s actions and failures to act.
Currently uncertain about the outcome of his ongoing legal dispute, Logan Paul finds himself embroiled in another court case as well. In late June, he took legal action against well-known YouTuber Coffeezilla, following a string of videos alleging doubts about the authenticity and financial handling of the CryptoZoo project. Coffeezilla countered by suggesting that the lawsuit is merely a tactic to suppress him.
