I am a gaming connoisseur who’s seen it all, from clunky wired mice to laggy wireless ones.
I am speed.
Should the Logitech Pro X Superlight 2 Dex be given a voice, it would express its readiness for action each time it’s held. This premium, top-tier gaming wireless mouse catches attention in numerous ways, but the lightning-fast speed it provides to esports players is undoubtedly its most talked-about feature.
Read on to scout through my full Pro X Superlight 2 Dex review, hot off the press in 2024.
Like Air
The Pro X Superlight 2 Dex is a peripheral that may seem incredibly basic at first glance, but it’s surprisingly powerful inside. It’s exceptionally lightweight, tipping the scales at only 60 grams, which might feel remarkably feather-like if you’re not accustomed to gaming mice.
This device houses the advanced HERO 2 sensor, technology capable of operating both LIGHTFORCE switches and LIGHTSPEED mechanics, as well as a battery that can run for an impressive 95 hours on a single charge. Remarkably, it’s currently one of the lightest gaming mice available, yet it maintains a solid feel in your hand.
On a neatly arranged mouse pad, the Pro X Superlight 2 Dex glides smoothly, much like a skate on polished ice. It’s as ergonomic as any mouse could be, ensuring unimpeded movement as you hold it. Nothing slows you down when using it on a gaming surface, thanks to its zero-additive PTFE feet that provide top-tier performance in motion.
As an avid gamer, I can confidently say that this gaming mouse was crafted in collaboration with top professional players worldwide. And trust me, that’s a big deal!
Talking Numbers
The Pro X Superlight 2 Dex, designed by Logitech, incorporates their exclusive Lightspeed tech, ensuring a swift 8kHz polling rate for smooth user experience. When combined with the Lightforce switches, known for their delightful, quick response, users can navigate rapidly without ever missing a click.
This mouse can be personalized using G Hub, but it doesn’t have an option to customize its physical appearance, as it lacks built-in RGB lighting. However, the focus of this mouse is more on functionality rather than aesthetics.
This mouse features five functioning buttons, boasts a resolving power that can reach up to an astounding 44,000 dots per inch (dpi), and has a top speed of around 888 inches per second (ips).
Inside the box, I was happy to discover an additional grip tape that enhances the mouse’s texture for a better tactile experience, though it adds a few extra grams. It’s a user-friendly, straightforward application method that will make the Pro X Superlight 2 Dex seem slightly larger and easier to hold, particularly beneficial for gamers who tend to have sweaty hands.
Let me make it crystal clear: The Pro X Superlight 2 Dex wireless gaming mouse is undoubtedly one of the most sophisticated you’ll encounter. Over the past few weeks, I’ve had the pleasure of putting it through its paces for both work and play, and I must admit, I couldn’t find a single drawback. In fact, I’m wrapping up this review without any negative points to mention.
Approximately priced at $150, this mouse falls towards the more expensive range of options, yet it truly delivers value for money. For years, I’ve relied on the G502 Hero as my primary mouse, but the Pro X Superlight 2 Dex and its adaptability and precision might have convinced me to switch loyalties.
