Lords of the Fallen confirms support for PS5 Pro

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that the announcement of Lords of the Fallen PS5 Pro support has me genuinely excited! The prospect of a 40% increase in pixel density and the choice between Performance Mode and Quality Mode is a dream come true for this old-school RPG enthusiast.

Excitedly speaking here, I can’t contain my enthusiasm! It’s been officially announced that I, along with fellow fans, will be able to enjoy Lords of the Fallen on the PS5 Pro! The release date for this amazing console is set for November 7th. Can’t wait to get my hands on it and immerse myself in the world of Lords of the Fallen like never before!

According to CI Games, the PS5 Pro edition offers a “boost of about 40% in pixel detail compared to the regular PlayStation 5, leading to a more vivid picture with improved detail.

The developer explains that the “Performance Mode” offers high-definition details in 4K60 (enhanced from 1440p), ensuring smooth 60 frames per second, clear distant details, and improved character and environment textures. If you value top-notch visuals, the “Quality Mode” operates at native 4K30, displaying intricate visuals in both Axiom and Umbral realms consistently at a steady 30 FPS.

Additional updates and improvements for the game are forthcoming on all platforms, some of which have been inspired by player feedback in the dark fantasy action-RPG genre.

In our evaluation, Mick rated the game 8 out of 10, noting: “Some peculiar design choices such as concealing flavor text behind a specific stat that not all players may require, or limiting your ability to wield both magic and ranged weapons but not using both simultaneously, can negatively impact the gaming experience. However, it’s hard to argue against the fact that Hexworks has successfully breathed life into the world of Axiom. The ambiance is captivating, and players seeking a level of difficulty rarely found even within this genre are likely to be smitten with Lords of the Fallen.

Since then, the game has been updated lots of times with things like boss rush mode, and more.

As a seasoned gamer, diving into Lords of the Fallen feels like stepping into a fresh, colossal role-playing journey set in a sprawling, connected realm that’s over five times bigger than its predecessor!

After centuries of the harshest despotism under the malevolent deity, Adyr, he was finally vanquished. However, gods are not forever banished. Now, millennia have passed, and Adyr’s revival is imminent. As part of the legendary Dark Crusaders, traverse realms spanning life and death in this extensive role-playing game adventure. Expect colossal boss fights, swift, challenging combat, exhilarating character interactions, and intricate, absorbing storytelling. Will your tale be one of light… or one of shadow?

Dare to Hope.

Lords of the Fallen is out now for PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5.
