Luma Island: All Luma Egg Locations

As an old-time adventurer who’s spent countless days exploring the mystical islands of Luma, I can confidently say that taming and nurturing these enchanting creatures has been one of the most rewarding experiences on my journey. The Lumas, with their vibrant colors and playful demeanor, are not just adorable companions but also valuable allies in your quest to uncover the island’s secrets.

In the title itself, Lumas play a significant role on Luma Island. These cute little beings aid you in gathering Luma Energy to advance your career and discover fresh environments. In all, there are 15 of them, and to acquire them, you must locate their eggs and hatch them.

These beings can also guide you towards hidden riches; you can keep one by your side constantly, and it will signal spots on the ground for you to excavate, uncovering treasure chests. In essence, Lumas are incredibly handy companions. Below is where you’ll discover all 15 of their eggs.

Where To Find All Luma Eggs In Luma Island

Luma Island: All Luma Egg Locations

Luma Eggs are hidden in various parts of Luma Island, often within the depths of Ancient Temples. To collect them all, you’ll need to search for elusive Crystals. Keep in mind that this quest can be risky, particularly as you progress through different game zones. Make sure your whip is always upgraded and ready before setting out. Here are the number of eggs found in each zone, along with their locations:

Biome# of EggsLocations
Farm2
  • 1 at the Ancient Farm Temple
  • 1 at the Farm Offering Pedestal
Forest4
  • 3 at the Forest Temples
  • 1 at the Forest Offering Pedestal
Mountain4
  • 3 at the Mountain Temples
  • 1 at the Mountain Offering Pedestal
Jungle5
  • 3 at the Jungle Temples
  • 1 at the Jungle Offering Pedestal
  • 1 at the top of the Volcano

In certain environments called biomes, you’ll find structures akin to ancient temples that have multiple chambers filled with riddles you must solve sequentially to reach the end. Upon completing an ancient temple for the first time, a Luma Egg (or Mysterious Egg) is hidden within the chest in the final chamber. However, it’s essential to see the temple through to its completion and all its chambers to acquire it, so ensure you don’t exit prematurely and that you’re adequately prepared for the challenges ahead.

In this game, you’ll encounter Pedestal Stations. To unlock the door leading to a chest filled with rewards, you must locate all the Crystalline Offerings hidden within each biome. Once found, insert these crystals into their corresponding Pedestal. Each biome has a considerable number of crystals, and they are spread out across the environment, so be prepared for a thorough search to collect them all, which may take some time.

How To Hatch Luma Eggs

Luma Island: All Luma Egg Locations

To get a Luma Egg to hatch, first construct a Luma Hatchery. The blueprint for this structure will become available to you at the start of your career. To build it, gather 5 Leather pieces, 3 Copper Ingot blocks, 5 Fabric squares, and 5 Glass panes.

You can make Leather and Fabric items at the workbench using Mushrooms and Cotton, respectively, while Glass can be produced in a Kiln with Sand and Coal. Finding Copper Ingots might require some effort as you’ll need to explore abandoned caves to find Copper Ore and then melt it into Ingots. However, once you have all the necessary materials, you’ll be able to construct a Luma Incubator and hatch your first Luma.

As a passionate fan, I’d like to share that to bring a Luma into existence, you’ll first need to concoct a Luma Life essence using your Incubator. You can utilize any kind of Spirit for this process – whether it’s Water, Earth, Nature, Rock, or even the enigmatic Lost Spirits. By venturing out to harvest resources and delving into the Ruins, you’ll discover these essential Spirits scattered around, making a bountiful collection by day’s end.

Place your Egg and the Luma Life into the Incubator, and your Luma will emerge. Upon completion of incubation, you can grab it, and it will be stored in your inventory, allowing you to place it in your pocket slot so it follows you around. If you have multiple Lumas, you can exchange them by capturing the one you desire with your net, which will transfer it into your inventory as well.

How To Look After Lumas

The primary advantage of keeping Lumas is that they produce Luma Energy, which is crucial for numerous innovative dishes you unlock as you progress in your career. Feeding them Luma Food and giving them daily pets will encourage them to drop Luma Energy.

Making Luma Food is quite affordable as it requires only one Farm Flower, one Farm Mushroom, and one Farm Berry. These items are plentiful in the surrounding biome, so you won’t have trouble ensuring your Luma stays well-nourished. In other biomes like the Forest and Mountain, you can craft Luma Food in larger quantities of five and seven using the corresponding local variants of each ingredient. Additionally, you can obtain Luma Power Food from the Mushroom Man, which enables your Lumas to drop an additional Luma Energy even if they’ve already been fed for the day.

In summary, it’s essential to create Luma Nests so that any excess Lumas you acquire have a home. Since only one Luma can accompany you at a time, you’ll need a place to store the others if you don’t have a nest. You can locate the blueprints for building these nests at the Drawing Shop in town. The designs come in three sizes: small, medium, and large. A small nest can accommodate two Lumas, while a medium one can house four and a large one can comfortably hold seven.

As you advance in tiers, the resources required for constructing Luma Nests become increasingly scarce. It’s essential that you explore each biome within Luma Island thoroughly, as this will help you acquire the necessary materials for eventually building the large nest to safeguard and ensure the happiness of all the Lumas you encounter.
