Luma Island: How to Get to The Jungle

As a seasoned adventurer who has spent countless hours exploring the mystical lands of Luma Island, I can confidently say that the Jungle biome is one of the most enticing and challenging areas in this captivating game. The journey to unlocking it is no walk in the park, but for those seeking a thrill, it’s an adventure worth undertaking!

In the heart of Luma Island’s grand finale, I found myself standing before the enigmatic Jungle. A realm shrouded in mystery and brimming with fresh challenges, it was a far cry from the peaceful landscapes I had traversed earlier. Hordes of relentless enemies, each more determined than the last to end my gaming journey prematurely, lurked in the shadows. But alas, amidst the danger, there were new resources to be discovered – precious ingredients that could elevate me from a simple gamer to a true master of my craft.

Before getting into it, it’s important to note that it will take quite a long time to gather everything you need to get to the Jungle in Luma Island. The materials are fairly difficult to get hold of, and you need a lot of them – and a lot of gold coins. But it’s totally worth all the trouble, so here’s how you can get to the Jungle.

How to Unlock The Jungle

To access the Jungle on Luma Island, your initial steps should be:

How to Fix The Lighthouse

To start the quest for fixing the Lighthouse, talk to Nelson who resides in the southern part of town first. While mending the lighthouse doesn’t automatically guide you to the Jungle, doing so is a crucial step that eventually leads you there after receiving its reward. The repair process requires two stages, and here’s what you need for both:

  • 15 Silk Rope
  • 30 Mountain Planks
  • 10 Scaffolding
  • 50 Mountain Stone Blocks
  • 30 Moonstone Bars
  • 20 Glass
  • 15 Bags of Cement

Scaffolding can only be bought from the General Store in town, but the rest of the materials you need to repair the Lighthouse can be found in the Mountain and crafted at various tables you’ll already have on your farm at this point of the game. Once you’ve fully repaired the Lighthouse, Nelson will reward you with the Lost Jungle Island Map, which is the first step to repairing the boat on the beach.

How to Fix the Boat

The boat can be located on the shoreline close to where you initially appear on Luma Island, in the Farm. This is your final repair stop before you get to the Jungle, though it may require a significant amount of time to complete. Here’s a list of all the materials required for the repairs:

  • Lost Jungle Island Map
  • Boat Motor
  • Boat Propellor
  • 50 Mountain Planks
  • 25 Moonstone Bars
  • 50 Mountain Color

Previously discussed, the Lost Jungle Island Map is obtained by refurbishing the Lighthouse. Contrastingly, the Boat Motor and Boat Propeller require separate actions. The Boat Propeller can be discovered at the peak of the Mountain. To reach it, you’ll encounter challenges and foes, but rest assured, once you arrive, you’ll stumble upon a tent for resting, the Boat Propeller, and a swift path back to the mountain base.

The Boat Motor is not difficult to find as you can buy it at the Fishing Shop in town, but it’s incredibly expensive at 100,000 gold coins. This is by far one of the most expensive items in the game, and getting the gold together to buy it is likely what will take the most time in the quest to repair the Boat.

The easiest way to make this money is to remake old recipes from your profession – with the Fisherman profession offering some of the most profitable dishes. Otherwise, you can always start a new profession in Luma Island and work your way up while saving what you make from it. Once the Boat is repaired, all you need to do is hop on and journey to the Jungle Island!
