The game Lumines Arise is set to launch on PlayStation 5 towards the end of November, and right now, you can try out a free demo! Since 2004, this puzzle game has captivated players with its engaging gameplay and visually stunning designs. And now, the latest installment in the series is almost here, arriving earlier than many expected.

At Summer Game Fest, Lumines Arise was unveiled, and received widespread acclaim from numerous journalists. Some, such as Polygon, even declared it as the standout game of the event, surpassing titles like Ninja Gaiden 4 and Pragmata. Lumines Arise Launches on November 11th Alongside Free Demo

On the PlayStation Blog, series producer Tetsuya Mizuguchi unveiled that Lumines Arise will officially launch on November 11th, 2025. To mark this announcement, a trial version of the game is accessible to players now, on both PlayStation 5 and Steam platforms, up until September 3rd. This demo offers the chance to play through three single-player levels and sample some of the multiplayer mode called Burst Battle.

2018 marked the release of the latest installment in the Lumines series, Lumines Remastered. This means it’s been seven years since we last experienced this game. Fingers crossed that the excitement generated by Summer Game Fest and the demo will benefit the game.
