As a seasoned gamer with countless hours under my belt, I can confidently guide you through the labyrinthine world of Enotria: The Last Song. First and foremost, heed my advice and stick to the solitary path that leads you to the Overlook Waypoint before engaging in the boss fight against Vermiglio, the Red Prior. Once you’ve vanquished him, make your way to his former location and approach Maja’s statue to receive a cryptic message that will send you on a journey to the Old Sanctuary.

How To Reach Vermiglio, the Red Prior In The Crimson Cloister
As a devoted follower, I’d guide you: To meet both Vermiglio and Maja, teleport to the secret hideout known as the Monastery of Maja, nestled beneath the Church of Maja. You can access this sanctuary once you’ve triumphed over Curtis, the Prince of Laughter. Descend into the hall and veer right at the open gate. After passing through the gate, follow the path taken by a sturdy tree root. This will lead you to your destination!
Ultimately, the base will guide you towards a dilapidated structure covered in tree roots. Enter the ruins and head right, searching for another gap in the wall.
Locate the entrance, then proceed by passing through it as it leads to another stairway that ascends to the tower’s summit. Continue along this path until you re-enter the structure once more.
On this occasion, you’ll find some obstacles within – enemies and staircases – guarding your path. Overcome them and ascend the stairs to proceed into another network of tree roots. Exit the building through these roots, finding yourself on a higher level, perched atop the ruins.
Once you reach the top, you’ll immediately find a Waypoint and a shiny item nearby.
Take the Key to the Crimson Cloister in Enotria: The Last Song and jump down to open its gate.
Retrace your steps along the original trail, as it’s the sole route that will lead you to another starting point this time around. Keep a keen eye on your right side until you spot a couple of wooden barrels and crates. Smash them open and utilize your Ardore Burst to stamp the ground, thereby clearing a path forward.
Keep following the only path to reach the melancholic Overlook Waypoint before the boss fight.
Enter the underground church to initiate the boss fight against Vermiglio, the Red Prior.
