Information and updates regarding Bungie’s forthcoming extraction-style shooter, Marathon, might surface earlier than expected.
In the late afternoon of Thursday, the recognized Marathon Twitter page shared a tantalizing teaser video with technical issues, followed by an adjustment to their profile picture. Shortly thereafter, the official PlayStation Twitter account made a similar change, hinting towards a possible connection with Marathon.
Additionally, other elements related to the game’s online profile, like its Steam page, Facebook, and YouTube channels, have been refreshed. To round it off, a MIDA account was set up on Twitter too.

There’s been a lot of chatter suggesting that we might be on the verge of uncovering additional details about the mysterious revival of the popular Bungie franchise, which has been shrouded in secrecy.
Back in February, Jeff Grubb mentioned that Marathon wouldn’t be included in last month’s PlayStation State of Play, as Sony was planning a separate event specifically for this game. He suggested that April could be the month for this presentation to occur.
He mentioned that we’re likely to get news regarding the Marathon around April. This update will be distinct from a State of Play event.
At the moment of writing, neither PlayStation nor Bungie have explicitly stated when they’ll announce new information about Marathon. However, considering the hints they’ve dropped, we can expect an update soon.
