On July 29th, the latest update for Mario Kart World (version 1.2.0) was rolled out. A significant adjustment made in this update was a decrease in the power of the Boomerang Flower item’s homing ability. This version also introduced some new rule options for VS Race, applicable to both Single Player and Multiplayer modes. Additionally, it fixed several bugs.
In the latest update 1.2.0, which arrived a month after the last, version 1.1.2, introduced contentious alterations to the online play in Mario Kart World that sparked disapproval among players. Specifically, within version 1.1.2, Mario Kart World’s online mode favored Intermission courses when players opted for “Random” in a wireless race or VS Race. This meant players had to journey to the next racetrack and complete one lap upon arrival. However, these changes were met with disfavor among Mario Kart World players, leading many to express their dissatisfaction on social media platforms while urging Nintendo to reconsider.
As a dedicated fan of Mario Kart World, I’m thrilled to share that after two months on the market, we now have a new update! Version 1.2.0 brings exciting changes to our gameplay experience. The patch introduces “No COM” and “Mushroom Only” rules for VS Race modes, providing more strategic options for us players.
Moreover, the Boomerang Flower, known for its chaotic effects on other racers, has received a tweak in this update. While it still spins opponents out of control upon impact, its homing capabilities have been toned down. This means that as we navigate through the tracks, we’ll need to be more precise with our aiming to make the best use of the Boomerang Flower.
So let’s get ready to race, fellow players! The updated Mario Kart World awaits us with new challenges and strategies to conquer.
In a change of direction from Nintendo’s previous update, racetracks that resemble laps will now appear more often when selecting a track for VS Race and wireless races, rather than Intermission courses. The CPU players have been weakened in all game modes except Battle mode, and the frequency of Triple Dash Mushrooms appearing when in lower race positions has also reduced.
As a gamer diving into the thrilling world of Mario Kart, I’ve got to upgrade my game to version 1.2.0 for seamless online play. This latest patch has squashed several bugs that were causing some quirky issues, like vehicles getting stuck in midair after jumping off a half pipe or incorrect rate fluctuations during wireless races. However, it remains uncertain if the reported glitch with the Spiny Shell item was tackled by this update.
I’m thrilled about the recent updates on Mario Kart World! The troublesome tracks like Sky-High Sundae and Dino Dino Jungle have been smoothed out with the 1.2.0 update, making my racing experience even better. With the momentum Nintendo’s been maintaining, I can’t wait to see what more they’ve got in store for this fantastic game!
