Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra Gameplay Leaks Online

Leaks online have given Marvel fans a first look at gameplay and images from the upcoming game, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. Developer Skydance New Media and publisher Plaion have been quiet about the game since its announcement almost four years ago, making these leaks even more interesting.

So, I’m really excited about this new game, *Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra*. You get to play as Captain America (the Steve Rogers version!), Black Panther (Azzuri, actually), Nanali, who leads the Wakandan Spy Network, and even Gabriel Jones from the Howling Commandos. It was first announced way back in October 2021, but unfortunately, it’s been delayed. We were supposed to get it during the 2025 holiday season, but now it looks like we’ll have to wait until 2026 to play.

Leaked Footage Shows Off Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra’s Gameplay

Although the game is taking a bit longer to release than expected, a recent leak has given fans a glimpse of early gameplay footage. The short, 15-second clip showcases Black Panther’s acrobatic fighting style as he battles four soldiers in a dimly lit bar. He quickly defeats the first opponent with a series of moves ending in a front flip kick. Inside the bar, Black Panther’s incredible agility is even more apparent, as he leaps over the bar and across the room in a single bound to attack another enemy. Since the game’s trailers haven’t shown any actual gameplay yet, this leak offers the first look at what it will be like to control Black Panther in action.

Besides the trailer, several images claiming to be from the game have appeared online, reportedly leaked by someone on the development team, as reported by MP1st. These images look more refined than the gameplay footage, hinting they might be from a later version of the game. They showcase various scenes from the World War 2 setting, including a brightly lit subway tunnel, an ornate hallway, and outdoor environments. Similar to the video, the images are all shown from Black Panther’s point of view, keeping the rest of the characters in *Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra* somewhat mysterious.

With one game’s release pushed back, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year for Marvel video games. Currently, only a few titles have been confirmed, including Insomniac’s *Marvel’s Wolverine*, a new Blade game being developed by Bethesda and Arkane Lyon, and an Iron Man game from EA. However, several other Marvel projects are in the works at different studios, suggesting even more games could arrive that year.
