As a dedicated fan of Marvel Rivals, I can’t help but feel exhilarated by the intensity and challenge that the game’s Competitive mode brings to the table. With its intricate hero shooter mechanics and focus on teamwork, this mode has truly tested my skills and patience.
In simpler terms, Marvel Rivals features an intense hero shooting gameplay where teamwork is put to the ultimate test in its Competitive mode. Ascend the rankings and demonstrate your worth as an essential hero or villain for any squad.
If you’d like to learn about the regulations, positions, and gameplay in the competitive mode of Marvel Rivals during its testing phase, here’s a simplified explanation.
All Competitive ranks in Marvel Rivals
- Bronze (I – III)
- Silver (I – III)
- Gold (I – III)
- Platinum (I – III)
- Diamond (I – III)
- Grandmaster (I – III)
- Eternity (No divisions, just rank points)
- One Above All (No divisions, just rank points)
In Marvel Rivals, there are eight distinct levels or ranks. The last two discard the divisions and solely concentrate on accumulating points. Therefore, if you aspire to attain those levels, focus on earning as many points as possible. However, once you advance to Eternity, your rank may begin to decrease if you don’t engage in regular gameplay.
For every 100 points you gain, there’s a promotion awaiting you. In case of a potential demotion, you’ll be protected from falling to a lower rank, allowing you an opportunity to bounce back.
Marvel Rivals Competitive party restrictions & rules
When engaging in Marvel Rivals Competitive matches, pairing up with teammates is restricted to those whose ranks fall within one level of your own. Consequently, a Diamond-ranked player may collaborate solely with competitors in Platinum or Grandmaster tiers.
How to unlock Competitive in Marvel Rivals beta
In order to access the Competitive mode during the Marvel Rivals beta testing, you’ll have to advance to level 5 first. Given that I managed to accomplish this in approximately nine or ten games, you should find it a relatively straightforward task as well.
If you reach Gold rank in the beta, you’ll unlock an exclusive permanent reward.
How to rank up in Marvel Rivals Competitive
In the Marvel Rivals Competitive mode, you accumulate rank points and advance through divisions primarily by triumphing in matches. Each game mode consists of several rounds, and may incorporate objectives like transporting a payload or guarding a position. The team that prevails in the majority of rounds secures the victory for the game.
At the end of each season, prizes are distributed based on your final ranking. Your ranks will be restored to their initial state once a new season begins.
As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can tell you that Marvel Rivals is currently in its beta phase, which means its Competitive mode is still a work in progress. Based on my own observations and involvement in various gaming communities, it’s safe to assume that there will be adjustments made leading up to the game’s official launch. So, fellow gamers, let’s keep an open mind as we navigate through this exciting yet evolving experience together!
