How will Marvel Rivals Esports appear is a query on everyone’s mind, and now, the game director of the hero-shooter has disclosed their strategy regarding the competitive side of the game.

During an interview with Metro, the director of Marvel Rivals, Guangyun Chen, was questioned about Netease’s plans for esports within the game. Chen explained that their ambitions for Marvel Rivals esports extend beyond just the competition, considering the overall picture. The design intends to accommodate both serious and casual players.

Chen mentioned that the team aims for their competitive game modes or tournaments to peacefully exist alongside their casual quick-play mode, similar to how several other games maintain both competitive and casual environments effectively. The developers aim to utilize insights from successful titles in this regard to foster a prosperous community for both types of players. At present, Chen did not disclose any planned esports tournaments for Marvel Rivals.
