Summary
- NetEase releases new stats and data based on which characters are picked and win the most across all game modes.
- Jeff the Land Shark is the most picked hero for Quickplay, while Mantis has the highest win rate.
- Storm has one of the lowest pick rates, though that may change thanks to upcoming Marvel Rivals Season 1 buffs.
In Marvel Rivals, the popular game developed by NetEase, players can now view statistics on the most frequently chosen heroes, least picked ones, and those with the highest win rates during the initial month. This action role-playing multiplayer game has gained significant popularity since its release in early December, and as we move into Season 1, NetEase aims to maintain this momentum.
For numerous fans, a significant surprise in Season 1 is the addition of The Fantastic Four to Marvel Rivals. Each member of this team will make their initial appearance in the game; Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman are set to debut at launch, while The Human Torch and The Thing will enter the scene somewhere around the mid-season. With exciting new content on the horizon, NetEase is taking a moment to reflect on the first month of gameplay, highlighting both the most popular and least selected heroes.
Prior to the debut of Season 1, NetEase has unveiled the “Hero Popularity Ranking” for Marvel Rivals, giving fans a glimpse into the most frequently chosen characters and those with the highest win rates in Quickplay and Competitive modes before the upcoming season. It’s no surprise that Jeff the Land Shark is a highly preferred character in Marvel Rivals, being the most selected hero for Quickplay matches, while Cloak & Dagger claims the top spot among Console competitive players, and Luna Snow takes the lead for competitive PC players.
Marvel Rivals Most Picked Heroes
- Jeff the Land Shark – Quickplay (PC and Console)
- Cloak & Dagger – Competitive (Console)
- Luna Snow- Competitive (PC)
In the Marvel Rivals game, Jeff may seem like a fan favorite character, but it’s actually Mantis who reigns supreme in terms of victory rate. Across all character roles, gaming platforms, and modes, Mantis stands at the top with a win rate over 50%. Interestingly, the Strategist hero maintains a high win rate of 56% in Quickplay and 55% in Competitive play. Characters like Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock follow closely behind. However, as Season 1 of Marvel Rivals begins on January 10, these statistics could shift significantly.
At the other extreme is Storm, a Duelist character who has faced harsh criticism from fans due to her low damage output and challenging gameplay style. She’s rarely selected, with a pick rate of only 1.66% in Quickplay and an even lower 0.69% in Competitive. However, things might be looking up for Storm as Marvel Rivals announced balance adjustments for Season 1, which includes several buffs for the X-Man.
