Marvel Rivals Shouldn’t Miss the Chance to Capitalize on the Wandavision and Agatha Hype

As a gamer who’s been around the block a few times, I can confidently say that Marvel Rivals has been a thrilling addition to my gaming library. However, there’s one family that’s been missing from the action, and it’s high time they stepped into the fray – the Maximoffs!

Following the debut of Marvel Rivals, fans of Marvel comics now have the opportunity to embody numerous beloved heroes. With close to 30 options available, it seems like everyone can find a character that suits them perfectly. As updates continue to roll out, this number is expected to increase significantly with more thrilling additions, if the rumors about Marvel Rivals are accurate. However, there’s one group of characters that should be integrated into the gameplay experience as soon as possible for added enjoyment.

As a dedicated gamer and Marvel fan, I can’t help but notice the buzz surrounding the Maximoff family these days. With hit shows like “Wandavision” and “Agatha All Along,” they’ve catapulted themselves into the spotlight as some of the most talked-about characters in the franchise. And with whispers of a Vision show on the horizon, it seems their popularity is reaching new heights. Given this surge of interest, it feels like the perfect time for “Marvel Rivals” to capitalize on this lively cast. After all, as we eagerly await what’s next for these characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, a game featuring them would be an exciting addition to the franchise.

Marvel Rivals Could Do Wonders With the Wandavision and Agatha Cast

Marvel Rivals Has Barely Tapped Into that Side of the MCU

Initially, the game Marvel Rivals merely scratched the surface of the Maximoff family and associated characters. Presently, gamers have the opportunity to assume the character of Wanda Maximoff, who functions as a Duelist. Utilizing her destructive chaos magic, she combats her adversaries effectively. Players can absorb energy, accumulate potent attacks, navigate the map in flight, and discharge waves of energy that can drastically alter the direction of any conflict. Those adept at wielding her abilities are formidable opponents, and her addition is well-timed.

As a devoted fan, I must admit that, beyond Scarlet Witch, there aren’t any characters directly connected to the “WandaVision” chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The characters closest to being more Maximoffs are Magneto. Although he isn’t Wanda’s father in the MCU’s continuity, he has been depicted as such within comics. Furthermore, players can engage as Doctor Strange, who clashed with Wanda in “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.” These inclusions are fantastic, but it would be even more exciting for fans if a future update allowed us to explore the Maximoff family in greater depth.

The Maximoff Family and Enemies Would Be Fantastic Additions

In a captivating fashion, both “Wandavision” and “Agatha All Along” have given fans an in-depth look at the Maximoff family and significantly developed their title characters. Marvel enthusiasts were treated to Wanda and Vision’s journey following “Avengers: Endgame,” witnessed Billy Maximoff’s growth through “Agatha All Along,” and even glimpsed the wicked Agatha Harkness attempting to control the entire family since her debut. These stories have not only expanded the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but they have also proven to be some of the most acclaimed installments to date.

Given the widespread appeal, it’s quite logical that Marvel Rivals would aim to capitalize on this aspect of the series. Players might find immense enjoyment in wielding magical abilities as Wiccan, passing through foes as Vision, or engaging in rapid-fire gameplay as Speed. The developers could even expand the experience by incorporating Agatha Harkness and the entire cast from Agatha All Along. Given the enthusiasm fans have for these characters, it would be a shame to exclude them from the hero shooter excitement.

With Marvel enthusiasts anxiously counting down to the next instalment of Wandavision‘s narrative, it seems like the ideal moment to let them delve into these characters. This move not only offers an excellent opportunity to fill in gaps between stories, but it could also draw fans towards Marvel Rivals, compelling them to explore more about these relatively new MCU heroes. Moreover, considering these characters have just recently entered the MCU scene, there’s a wealth of potential storylines and costumes for NetEase Games to mine for years to come.
