That’s why Ultimate Marvel was born, and it was within this exciting context that The Maker made his entrance!

In the aftermath of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch’s demise, Magneto, overwhelmed by sorrow, seeks to annihilate the world. However, the heroes of the Ultimate Marvel universe intervene, but not without a heavy toll – vast destruction ensues, and notable figures like Professor X, Wolverine, Daredevil, and even Franklin Storm himself perish. Devastated and emotionally scarred, Reed Richards loses control when Sue Storm rejects his proposal during Franklin Storm’s funeral, leading him to break down.

As a mastermind gamer, I’ve found myself embracing the role of The Maker – a character who, disillusioned with his reality, chooses to harness my extraordinary intellect and elasticity for personal gain. I seek out a fresh canvas, a new universe ripe for sculpting according to my whims.

In the Marvel universe, there’s no questioning Reed Richards’ brilliance – he’s the smartest cookie in the jar, capable of stretching his mental prowess beyond conventional limits. However, Ultimate Reed Richards takes it to another level, with a brain that can expand its intelligence by multiple dimensions, making him a formidable intellectual adversary.

When I succumb to my villainous transformation, the Molecule Man splits me into an infinite number of physical entities, each one inhabiting a new universe crafted during Secret Wars’ events. The twist? We all share a single consciousness. In essence, The Maker is not just the smartest human in the Marvel universe, but someone who transcends traditional morality and dimensional boundaries.

What The Maker’s Introduction Says About Marvel Rivals

In Marvel’s narrative, each universe presents a unique take on its characters due to multiple storylines and continuities. However, despite these differences, there are common traits that bind various versions of these characters together across different realms. For example, while Ultimate Spider-Man (Peter Parker) might be more melancholic than his Earth-616 counterpart, they both uphold the same moral principles, strive for justice, exhibit occasional timidity, and maintain a similar sense of humor. Essentially, they embody the same core identity.

Instead of The Maker being almost identical to Reed Richards as portrayed in other versions, he stands out so significantly that he might as well be considered a separate character altogether. This unique twist raises intrigue since he’s merely a cosmetic replacement for Mr. Fantastic, which limits his role and suggests that NetEase is choosing to marginalize highly powerful characters by confining them to cameos or references, rather than making them central figures in the Marvel Rivals narrative or game mechanics.
