MARVEL SNAP – Blink and It’s Bigger Deck

Quick Guide to Blink and It’s Bigger Deck

As a seasoned Marvel Champions: The Card Game enthusiast with a knack for unconventional strategies, I must say this Blink deck guide is right up my alley! The creative use of Ravonna, Iceman, and Shang-Chi caught my attention immediately. It’s not often you see a list that prioritizes on-reveal synergies over traditional interaction cards.

Line of Attack:

Based on my years of experience in gaming design, I believe the primary objective of this list is to create a powerful, attention-grabbing effect with high-impact on-reveals, which can then be amplified for an even bigger impact, either by revealing another high-impact on-reveal or a stat stick. Secondly, it’s essential to include cards that are capable of moving and can be used as a stepping stone to reveal larger cards in the game. This approach adds excitement, unpredictability, and depth to the gameplay experience.

Ravonna is present to reduce the impact of low-powered reveal cards, allowing them to function effectively before being replaced. Since the list doesn’t require much interaction, I included Iceman to slow down their card play (other options could be Spider-Ham, Korg, etc., or another mover like Nightcrawler). Shang-Chi was added to eliminate large threats early and then be substituted for potential future use (an alternative might have been Leech when he was a 4-Cost RIP; currently, there aren’t many good replacements, but having Sage here could work. You could play Sage + Jeff on turn 4, move Jeff, and then blink him to counter something big on that turn).

If things don’t go as planned, you can play Iceman along with Blink on turn 6 to extract a decent outcome from your collection. Regardless, Jeff remains Jeff. Nocturne serves as an additional maneuverable card, offering some management over the locations.

From my years of tinkering with algorithms and exploring the depths of data structures, I must say that the specific list I stumbled upon early in the season wasn’t the most efficient or optimized one out there, but boy, was it a blast! The sense of discovery and adventure as I navigated through its intricacies will forever be etched into my coding memories.
