After the dismal disappointment that was the original release in 2017, this fan mod has managed to not only restore my faith but also surpass my expectations.

When Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite debuted in 2017, it fell short of matching its predecessors’ success and left many fighting game enthusiasts worldwide feeling let down. However, the fighting game community has persevered, and their efforts are now coming to fruition with Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite & Beyond, set for release tomorrow, December 20.

For your convenience, this non-official modification works seamlessly with the Steam edition of the combat game. However, it’s essential that you own the base game to install and use the mod.

Over a period of approximately eight months, this mod was created by around 40 individuals. It is available for free download, which could potentially account for why Capcom has not taken any legal action against the development team.
