Marvel’s Blade Dev is ‘Super Proud’ of ‘Special Game’ It’s Creating

The team developing Marvel’s Blade has been diligently working on the game, and they describe it as something truly unique.

So, everyone’s been hyped for Arkane Lyon’s next game, Marvel’s Blade, and we’ve all been dying for more info. Earlier this year, we found out they officially started full production at the end of 2024 and thankfully, the layoffs didn’t affect the project. Now, someone working on the game just dropped another small update, which is cool!

Marvel’s Blade Dev Provides Small Update

A content creator who focuses on Arkane and Bethesda games recently asked the developers for a Christmas update on the upcoming Marvel’s Blade game. To everyone’s surprise, Dinga Bakaba, a studio co-creative director, responded on X (formerly Twitter) with good news: development is moving forward as planned.

Bakaba shared that the team is passionately developing the game, with everyone going above and beyond to make it great. He asked players for their patience, promising it will be a truly special game that lives up to the high expectations they have for themselves and the player community.

Marvel’s Blade is a single-player game where you play as the vampire hunter Eric Brooks, also known as the Daywalker. The game takes place in Paris, where a supernatural crisis has led to a quarantined zone, and players will experience a brand new story as they explore the city.

Bethesda has expressed a goal for Fallout 5 to offer players around 600 hours of gameplay. They also mentioned it took ten years for their team to feel ready to innovate with the Fallout series. What do you think about the team behind the upcoming Marvel’s Blade calling their project a ‘special game’?
