A fresh whisper circulates, showing supposed snapshots from Respawn’s alleged tactical Star Wars game. While there’s not much official information available yet, it’s rumored that the Star Wars game is being created jointly with Bit Reactor.
Over the years, the game series based on Star Wars has been quite varied, boasting some fantastic games alongside those that were merely average. Lately, the Jedi series in particular has really shone, while Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws received more positive reviews than it did sales. Interestingly enough, the Star Wars franchise has been incorporated into other games as well. There’s a buzz going around that Fortnite might be teaming up with Star Wars again soon.
Based on MP1st reports, sneak peeks of Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor’s strategic “Star Wars” game have surfaced from an artist’s collection. These leaked images provide valuable insights about the forthcoming game, including its development name, “Star Wars: Bruno”. The visuals depict players engaging in turn-based battles as Mandalorians against clone troopers, and a base situated at the “Kafrene Mining Colony” offering facilities such as the Armory, Holotable, Special Ops, and the Black Market. In terms of gameplay, it appears to resemble “XCOM” rather than the franchise’s previous tactical title, “Star Wars: Empire at War”.
Images Leak of ‘Star Wars: Bruno’
The confirmation is out: Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor’s Star Wars title will be unveiled on April 19. So, Star Wars enthusiasts won’t have to wait much longer to witness it in action. However, if these images are authentic (and they seem to be), they should be viewed with a measure of skepticism. As reported by MP1st, the artist’s portfolio images are dated to mid-2023, which means they originate from an earlier version of the game. Given that a lot can change between then and now, it will be intriguing to see what modifications have been made.
At present, Star Wars video games are shrouded in intrigue. Although several Star Wars games have been announced as being in production, details about them remain scarce, leaving enthusiasts somewhat puzzled. It is hoped that the upcoming Star Wars Celebration event in Japan will bring clarity to these game titles and their features.
