Games released early-access style frequently contain glitches and rough edges which give them a less refined feel compared to final versions, and this is certainly true for Schedule 1. Despite being marred by numerous bugs, the game still manages to captivate the attention of over a hundred thousand players due to its endearing qualities.
A frequent problem encountered by numerous players during their gameplay revolves around the tool called the Cauldron, which is used for processing Coca leaves. On occasion, players may experience a glitch where they’re unable to engage with the Cauldron in specific scenarios.
How to Get & Use the Cauldron in Schedule 1

To open the Cauldron, you need to progress and achieve Enforcer 1 rank according to Schedule 1. Once accomplished, you have an opportunity to buy this item for $3,000 from Oscar, who is stationed in the Warehouse. Similar to other items, after purchase, you can choose it in your inventory and position it anywhere in your base that has enough room available.
In the cauldron, you can combine two specific items: Coca Leaves and Gasoline. The cauldron has space for 80 units of Coca Leaves (four slots each holding up to 20 leaves) and one slot for Gasoline, which can contain up to 20 units. To operate the cauldron, simply place the items inside and then press “Start” or “Begin” to initiate the cooking process.
How to Fix Cauldron Bug in Schedule 1

When players assign Chemists to automate the soda production, they might run into a frustrating glitch where their Cauldron becomes unreachable, preventing interaction or usage by both you and your chemist. Here are two solutions to resolve this problem:
1. Restart the game. This will reset everything back to its original state, hopefully resolving any bugs or errors that might have occurred during gameplay.
2. Save your game before assigning Chemists, then reload the save if the issue arises. If the problem is related to the automation process, loading a previous save may prevent it from happening again.
- Unassign and Reload: It is quite easy to fix the bug if it comes up under your watch, though it is a temporary fix and the bug can pop up again afterward. Unassign the glitching cauldron from the Chemist it’s under. Save and exit the game. After you restart, the issue should be resolved.
- Single Assignments: The issue only arises if the player assigns multiple cauldrons to the same Chemist. To prevent the bug from occurring, players need to make sure they only assign a single cauldron to each chemist. Although it is quite inefficient and resource-intensive, it’s the only way to prevent this bug from popping up in the first place.
