To embark on the Foggy Dilemma mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X, players must meet several requirements first. These include finishing the Chapter 4 Story Mission and ensuring the protagonist has reached Level 13. Although accomplishing these two conditions is relatively straightforward, a third prerequisite might pose a challenge for some players.

In NLA, players must locate and accept the “Backup Request Mission” from the “Mission Control” interface which has been clearly identified on the provided maps. To ensure understanding, players should navigate through the list of missions until they find the “Backup Request Mission” issued by “Phog”.

It’s worth mentioning that the Backup Request mission in Phog’s game doesn’t always show up on the Mission Control console. 4. Mark these new locations on your map, as they will guide you throughout the mission.

  1. Highlight the waypoint on the map and track it.
  2. Use Xenoblade Chronicles X’s fast travel feature to get as close as possible to the waypoint.
  3. Deploy the Follow Ball (by pressing R + X) upon arrival, and follow the trail that it creates to reach the first Data Probe.
