Fans eagerly await its reappearance whenever it disappears from stores. In the US, the iconic McRib was back on December 3, but only for a limited period.

In 2025, a part of every Shamrock Shake sold at participating locations across the country will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC), enabling families to remain near their hospitalized children. This year, the Shamrock Season is filled with a touching surprise as Grimace meets his long-lost relative, Uncle O’Grimacey, for the first time in decades. As you might recall, Uncle O’Grimacey, the green relative of Grimace, made his debut in 1975, five years following the introduction of the Shamrock Shake. Dressed in a vest decorated with shamrocks, a small hat, and carrying a cane, Uncle O’Grimacey hails from “Sham Rock, Ireland.” Originally featured in McDonald’s advertisements promoting the seasonal shake, he used to star alongside Ronald McDonald and his nephew Grimace in commercials. However, similar to other McDonald’s characters such as Mayor McCheese, Birdie the Early Bird, and Captain Crook, Uncle O’Grimacey eventually disappeared from the limelight.

Apart from the Shamrock Shake, McDonald’s customers have something else to eagerly anticipate: the return of the Snack Wrap in 2025, as the company previously announced. First introduced in 2006, this wrap was a favorite on the menu for its lighter alternative to traditional burgers and fried foods. The Snack Wrap consisted of crispy or grilled chicken, shredded lettuce, cheese, and either ranch or honey mustard sauce, all wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. It became a popular choice for those wanting a portable, lower-calorie option compared to other favorites like McNuggets, Big Macs, and the McRib.

Recently, news emerged that McDonald’s has decided to include special Pokémon Trading Card Game packs with every Happy Meal purchase, starting just days ago.
