As a dedicated gamer of Pokemon GO, I’m thrilled to share that we’re gearing up for the release of Mega Audino! This exciting new addition is set to make its debut during an exclusive Raid Day event happening in early April, specifically on the 5th. So, fellow trainers, if you’ve been waiting to add this powerhouse Pokemon to your collection, it’s time to get ready and sharpen those battle skills!

Among the numerous Pokémon that emerged from Generation 5, Audino stands out as one of the most well-liked. Initially, Audino was solely a Normal-type Pokémon; however, it gained a secondary Fairy typing when in its Mega Evolved form. The concept of Mega Evolution wasn’t integrated into the series until Generation 6 with the launch of Pokémon X and Y. Although Audino didn’t qualify for that game, Mega Audino was incorporated into Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire in 2014, making it the first and currently only Gen 5 Pokémon to be bestowed with the ability of a Mega Evolution.

In reference to the Mega Absol Raid Day happening on March 23 for Pokemon GO, it’s worth noting that a unique event for Mega Audino is scheduled for April 5, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., local time. This will be the debut opportunity for players to capture Mega Audino through a Pokemon GO raid. Unlike previous releases, there’s a possibility of finding a shiny version. Moreover, during this event, Audino will start learning the charged attack Moonblast, which will persist as a regular feature in the game even after the event concludes.

In the Mega Evolution, Audino gains a secondary Fairy typing, making it resistant to Fighting-type attacks. To overcome this resistance during battles against Mega Audino in Pokemon GO, players should focus on using Poison and Steel-type Pokemon. Furthermore, for an edge in gameplay, consider purchasing an Event Ticket priced at $5 USD (or equivalent currency). This ticket offers numerous benefits such as extra Raid Passes upon spinning Gym Photo discs, a higher likelihood of receiving Rare Candy XL from Raid Battles, and double XP and Stardust rewards from Raid Battles.

The event will not only offer the initial chance to capture Mega Audino, but also a unique Timed Research opportunity within Pokemon GO. As of now, we don’t know what conditions must be met to finish this Timed Research, but rest assured, it will come with attractive rewards. It has been confirmed that finishing the Timed Research will yield 10,000 Stardust, in addition to extra Stardust for completing Raid Battles.
