The upcoming game “Pokémon Legends: Z-A” has unveiled the next Pokémon to undergo Mega Evolution – Hawlucha. This much-awaited title, slated for release on October 16th, has been gradually disclosing more details until its launch. Earlier this week, a hint was dropped about a new Pokémon receiving Mega Evolution. Now, we finally know which Pokémon it is, and it’s a character loved by many fans.
The creation of Pokémon Legends Z-A can be traced back for a couple of years at least. However, it wasn’t until this year that we got a glimpse of its gameplay. Soon enough, we’ll have the chance to play it. Based in the Kalos region, which was showcased in Pokémon X and Y, combat will be more real-time compared to the usual turn-based style. Although some found it refreshing in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, recent previews indicate that it functions quite smoothly.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A Reveals Mega Hawlucha in New Trailer
In the video clip you’ve just watched (displayed earlier), Hawlucha battles Machamp in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. As the trailer concludes, the Hawlucha metamorphoses into Mega Hawlucha and demonstrates some remarkable abilities. This action-packed scene is further enhanced by another CG clip that was also released, depicting a genuine wrestling match between these two Pokémon. Such physical combat suits their personalities quite well.
Debuted in 2013’s games Pokémon X and Y, Hawlucha is a Pokémon with Fighting and Flying types. Drawing inspiration from Latin American wrestlers, it showcases an impressive move called the Flying Press. This versatile creature has also made appearances in other titles such as Sword, Shield, Scarlet, and Violet. Given its popularity, it’s no wonder that players are excited to witness Mega Hawlucha stepping into the arena in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.
