Contrasting to the Metal Gear series, Steel Seed leans more towards action gameplay, with fewer characters populating its world. Unlike the intricate storylines found in the Metal Gear games, Steel Seed concentrates on the evolution of Zoe’s character throughout the game. As players advance through the game, they’ll find themselves navigating sandbox levels teeming with lethal robots. Typically, players will employ stealth tactics and their environment to bypass these robots, striking from ambush. However, there is also the option to engage in head-on combat when necessary.

Despite Critic Reviews for Steel Seed, It’s Still Worth Checking Out

While it’s true that critics haven’t entirely taken to the game Steel Seed, it has generally received mixed reviews from most media outlets. Conversely, on platforms like Steam, user reviews for Steel Seed are quite favorable. At this moment, the game boasts a 95% Very Positive rating on Steam. Despite its brevity and less-than-stellar production qualities, many have commended Steel Seed as an outstanding example of a top-tier AA game.
