The updated version of Metal Gear Solid 3 is scheduled for release on August 28, 2025, allowing fans to revisit their cherished stealth action game. This revamped edition will retain the original storyline and setting, but with enhanced graphics and sound, aiming to elevate the core gaming experience. Initially, a fresh multiplayer mode titled Fox Hunt was planned for launch alongside the game, however, it appears that this feature will be introduced afterwards.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater’s Fox Hunt Mode Will Release in Fall 2025
On its official site, Konami has announced a timeline for the launch of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater’s Fox Hunt mode, which they’ve set for Fall 2025. Unfortunately, they didn’t specify an exact date, so fans will have to wait a while before they can enjoy the multiplayer aspect of this mode. Notably, the MGS 3 Remake is due out at the end of this month, but it seems that players won’t be able to access Fox Hunt immediately following its release.
For those who might not know, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater’s Fox Hunt mode offers a thrilling online hide-and-seek adventure. In this game, players can leverage distinctive Metal Gear features such as camouflage and survival skills. This mode highlights stealth gameplay elements that are signature to the Metal Gear series, and the improved visuals make the experience even more captivating.
Snake Eater will be accessible at the initial release. Players on PlayStation and Steam platforms can engage in ‘Snake vs Monkey’, a mode where you must capture all the escaped apes as Snake. Xbox Series X/S users can enjoy ‘Snake vs Bomberman’, a mode that involves detonating these bombermen throughout various stages instead.
