As a huge Borderlands 4 fan, I’m always on the hunt for awesome loot, and Mimicron is definitely a boss you’ll want to farm! This boss drops some seriously incredible Legendary weapons and items. I’ve put together a list of everything Mimicron can drop, what each item does, and whether it’s worth grabbing. If you’re wondering where to find and farm Mimicron in Borderlands 4 for an easy victory, you’ll find all the details below!
How to Find Mimicron & the Tipping Point Bunker in Borderlands 4
Tipping Point Bunker Walkthrough

You can find Mimicron inside the Tipping Point Bunker, located in the southeastern part of Idolator’s Noose within the Fadefields. When you reach the bunker’s entrance, you’ll see it’s locked. For a helpful guide, watch the video below, which provides a complete walkthrough. Alternatively, you can follow the descriptive instructions provided after the video:
To get inside, face away from the Bunker door and turn sharply to the right. You’ll see a large fan – go inside it. Once in the fan, turn right again to find a ladder. Climb the ladder to get a Locust Canister, then drop down through the hole and throw the canister at the Bunker door to permanently open the Tipping Point Order Bunker. Inside, you’ll need to power up some buttons using batteries to unlock the deeper sections of the Bunker; the first battery is located to the left of the conveyor belt. Eventually, you’ll reach an elevator shaft. Instead of riding the elevator, climb on top of it, then scale the walls to reach Mimicron.
How to Beat Mimicron (& Legendary Drops) in Borderlands 4
All Loot Drops from Mimicron

| Legendary | Type | Special Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Complex Root | Sniper Rifle | Sierpinski – Spawns additional diverging Projectiles along its path. |
| Luty Madlad | SMG | Homemade Ingenuity – Overheats quickly, but also Cools down quickly. |
| UAV | Grenade | Death From Above |
Mimicron includes 3 powerful Legendary weapons players can earn. We especially suggest Complex Root for Sniper Rifle fans, and Luty Madlad for those who prefer SMGs. Complex Root is great for quickly taking out groups of enemies because each shot sends out an extra projectile to maintain consistent damage. As for Luty Madlad, it fires incredibly fast, and its quick heating and cooling cycle lets you keep firing continuously without interruption.
Okay, so Mimicron is one of those Order bots, and it’s a real pain because it *only* uses melee. Basically, it’s going to constantly try to rush me and stab with a spear. But here’s the tricky part – it’s invisible most of the time! I have to really pay attention to spot it when it’s not attacking. It also likes to duplicate itself, and all those copies have a Shield health bar, so a Shock weapon is super effective for taking them down quickly. I’ve found that Explosive weapons work really well too, and anything with Elemental Damage is great because you can see the damage numbers ticking even when Mimicron is hidden. Just remember, its first health bar is Shield, so Shock it, and then switch to Cryo or Corrosive when you get to its Armor.
