In the Spring 2025 Release, we have popular absentees such as biome revitalizations, a Crab creature, and adored Mooblooms. The structure of this release seems open enough for defeated options from previous votes to potentially reappear. Given that Firefly, once thought extinct, has been reintroduced into the game, there’s no telling what could be included in the Release format.

The main problem with Drop format is that it frequently fulfills its promise, leaving players feeling as though all the content was pre-arranged and prepared without any real player involvement by the end of the Drop. It’s unfortunate that even with smaller Drops, there isn’t much feedback provided to players about the additional content, making it less interactive and engaging.
With The Garden Awakens update, it appears that many player ideas for new Drops features aren’t being incorporated. While not every idea needs to be implemented in Minecraft, when a feature seems reasonable, aligns with Minecraft, and has strong community support – like the White Pumpkin concept for the Pale Garden biome – the update seems to fall short of meeting expectations. In the future, White Pumpkins could potentially become part of Minecraft during a refresh or second-pass update for the Pale Garden. However, this only exacerbates the existing backlog problem and raises questions about why it wasn’t considered earlier, especially since this update is supposed to be focused on players’ feedback.
