Regularly, Mojang enriches the world of Minecraft by adding fresh content through game updates, offering more exciting discoveries for gamers. One of the latest inclusions was the Friendly Ghast, which came with the Chase the Skies expansion. As the name suggests, this mob is a much friendlier variant of the usual hostile Ghast. Players can obtain their own Friendly Ghast by submerging a Dried Ghast found in the Nether; the subsequent process results in a Ghastling that matures into a Friendly Ghast. Due to its cute appearance and usefulness for players, this passive mob has gained immense popularity among enthusiasts, leading to some remarkable in-game homages.
In my Minecraft world, I, as a gamer, crafted an impressive statue of the Happy Ghast, inspired by a fellow Reddit user known as Boscawinks. I painstakingly recreated every detail, from its unique harness and goggles to even adding a miniature player figure riding atop it – just like in the game! The real showstopper, though, was its mind-boggling size. As you can see in the images, this colossal statue towered over the entire landscape, standing next to a village for scale. Boscawinks had plans to expand the project further by adding a passenger beneath the Ghast, but alas, the build limit held us back. Still, it’s an epic creation that I’m proud to call my own in this virtual world of blocks!
