Minecraft’s Mounts of Mayhem drop is live now, introducing new weapons, mounts, enemies, and more.
Minecraft has seen a steady stream of new content this year. Following the June updates – Vibrant Visuals and Happy Ghast – players can now look forward to ‘Mounts of Mayhem,’ the game’s next major update. Details are below.
Minecraft’s Mounts of Mayhem Update Will Introduce New Weapons, Foes, Mounts, and Underwater Exploration
Mounts of Mayhem Weapons
The upcoming Mounts of Mayhem update for Minecraft will introduce a new spear weapon, perfect for fighting on foot or while riding a mount. The spear’s damage will increase based on how fast you are moving. A special enchantment called Lunge will also be added, giving players a speed boost when they attack with the spear. The higher the Lunge enchantment level, the farther the player can dash with each attack.
Zombie Mounts and Enemies
The game also features Zombie Mounts – undead creatures that you can tame and ride! First are Zombie Horses, which are normally peaceful but ridden by zombies with spears. Simply defeat the rider, and the horse becomes yours. Next is the Zombie Nautilus, found underwater and ridden by a Drowned wielding a trident. To tame it, you’ll need to knock the Drowned off and then lure the Nautilus with a pufferfish.
The upcoming Mounts of Mayhem update for Minecraft will introduce Camel Husks, new creatures that don’t attack unless provoked. They appear with two riders – one armed with a spear and another with a bow. Unlike some other mobs, Camel Husks can survive in daylight, offering players a new challenge even during the day.
Mounts of Mayhem introduces exciting new ways to explore underwater in Minecraft! Players can ride three different mounts – the nautilus, zombie nautilus, and coral zombie nautilus – which all increase your speed and let you breathe normally while underwater.
