In ARC Raiders, the Communication Hideout quest tasks players with repairing an antenna in the Red Tower area of the Buried City map. You’ll need to search the area for a missing battery cell to restore power to the antenna. This quest is particularly worthwhile, as it unlocks a unique outfit variant. Here’s a guide to help you complete it quickly.
Where to Find the Missing Battery Cell in ARC Raiders (Communication Hideout)
To begin the Communication Hideout quest in ARC Raiders, go to the Red Tower landmark on the Buried City map. It’s located just northeast of Plaza Rosa, and you’ll need to zoom in slightly on the map to find it.
You can easily see the tower from a distance, standing prominently in the red glow of the Buried City. Your first task for the Communication Hideout quest is to find the battery needed to turn on the generator. Look for it east of the red tower, on the ground directly across from the yellow generator.
To activate the antenna on top of the tower, players first need to find the battery cell and place it into the generator on the left. Then, turn the generator on using the switch located on its right side – do this before climbing the tower!
Enter the Red Tower through the open window. Climb the stairs, then take the ladder to your left, near the hole on the second floor, to reach the top. To the right of the metal path leading up to the tower, you’ll find a small path. Follow this path to a computer terminal – interacting with it will finish the Communication Hideout quest in ARC Raiders.
After successfully returning to Speranza, players can claim their rewards from Shani by completing the Communication Hideout quest in ARC Raiders. These rewards include the Crimson Racer (Aviator Color) outfit, one Anvil III weapon, and 40 units of Heavy Ammo.
