MLB The Show’s official social media account recently announced that the new version of the game won’t feature a different player on the cover. This led fans to wonder who would be featured this year. However, a trusted source, billbil-kun from Dealabs, has revealed that Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees, who was on the cover in 2018, will return as the cover athlete for MLB The Show 2026.
MLB The Show 26 Release Date Revealed
The report revealed more than just details about the game – it also announced the release date for MLB The Show 26: March 17, 2026. Players can expect to find it on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. While a version for the Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t confirmed yet, we might get an official announcement from the developers soon if it’s planned to launch within the next two months.
